For much of history, and even today, women were automatically assigned to roles of domestic labor without compensation. In the u.S. And throughout the world, the notion of “women’s work” is challenged every day. The exploitation of gender roles is a critical component in the functioning of global capitalism. We created this playlist to try and demonstrate the struggles, triumphs, potential, and hope on the road to women’s full economic equality.
