Journalists and media personalities have a unique opportunity to shape our images of womens’ capabilities and interests. Here we explore the work of journalists who expanded women’s roles, covered women’s issues courageously, and occupied pivotal roles in shifting our perception of women.
The films are organized by the decade the film begins in (as opposed to the decade the film was made) starting in the 1900s until present day. Some films span multiple decades, and we will upgrade these time designations as the website evolves.
